Foreshore Walk is located in Ambury regional park
From the right hand end of the main car park this easy (but often windswept) track is great for an evening or winter walk to blow away the cobwebs. Follow the yellow markers and discover the local history of the area through information panels along the way. This track will take you across open pasture to the foreshore, where birds roost on the rocks and on small shelly beaches and gather food from the mud flats at low tide. There are plenty of lookout points along the way. Then return back to the car park.
Short walks are suitable for most people including families with young children and some mountain buggies; however, please check the individual track descriptions for detail. All short walks are part of the path classification of tracks and are suitable for people of most ages, mobility and fitness.
Theft from vehicles is not common but unfortunately can happen.
You should take the same reasonable precautions you take when parking at other locations and remember to lock your vehicle and take your valuables with you.
