Please note that booking hours for regional parks campgrounds, SCC campgrounds, SCC parking areas, baches and bookable sites is as follows:

Daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday
Non daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday

No bookings can be taken over the phone (or in person on site) outside of these times.

No cash payments are available at any time on park. We strongly recommend that you call our contact centre in advance of your arrival on park on (09) 366 2000, option 1, to make your booking.

Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

Remember to be a tidy Kiwi!

All our regional parks are rubbish free. Whether you call it rubbish, trash or garbage, please bag it all up and recycle it or throw it away when you return home.

Important notice

Automatic gate closes at 7pm in winter and 9am Summer.  No access out of hours.


About Duder SCC Parking Area

Self contained campervan sites for up to 5 campervanners at the carpark down by the toilets. At the carpark at end of main entrance to Duder Regional Park off North Road.

Prohibited: All trucks, portable container dwellings and 5th Wheelers over 8 mtrs due to narrow turn-a-round. Dogs, and emptying of waste cartridges.

Take State Highway 1 south and turn off at Te Irirangi Drive and veer left. At the fourth set of traffic lights turn right into Ormiston Road and head towards Whitford. At the T-junction turn left into Whitford and right at the roundabout onto Whitford - Maraetai Road. Continue through Maraetai and take Maraetai Coast Road to Umupuia. The park is just to the south of Umupuia on North Road.
