Information

Please note that booking hours for regional parks campgrounds, SCC campgrounds, SCC parking areas, baches and bookable sites is as follows:

Daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday
Non daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday

No bookings can be taken over the phone (or in person on site) outside of these times.

No cash payments are available at any time on park. We strongly recommend that you call our contact centre in advance of your arrival on park on (09) 366 2000, option 1, to make your booking.

Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

All our regional parks are rubbish free. Whether you call it rubbish, trash or garbage, please bag it all up and recycle it or throw it away when you return home.

About Te Kuiti Cottage

Te Kuiti Cottage is located on the stunning Umupuia Beach nestled below Duder Regional Park.  The bach offers a unique setting for your getaway.

Access into Duder Regional Park is only a short 5 minute walk away.  Discover this beautiful park with extensive views over the inner Tamaki Straits. The nearby villages of Clevedon and Maraetai offer cafes and shops.

Booking restriction period: Off peak period is June-September (incl). This bach can be booked up to six months from todays month. e.g. In June you may make a booking for a date in December.
Check in time: 2:00 p.m.
Check out time:  12 Noon
Bedrooms: Two bedrooms, one bedroom with queen bed and one bedroom with double bed.
Bathroom: Bathroom with shower and toilet.
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, and toaster, jug, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery provided.
Laundry: Washing machine.
Power supply: Power is standard domestic supply.
Water: Tank supply.  Conserve water as there is a limited water supply.
Heating: Electric oil column heaters in lounge and bedrooms.  Wood fire in lounge.
Rubbish: Rubbish bin in house, please take all your rubbish with you. The park itself has no bins.  The house and surrounding site must be kept clean and tidy during your stay, and left clean on your departure. Please recycle bottles, cans and plastics.
You need to supply: Bed linen, blankets, duvets, sleeping bags, additional pillows, towels, tea towels, food, personal items etc.

Picnic table on front deck.  Carport.
