Manukau Timber Company Heritage Trail is located in Huia regional park
The Manukau Timber Company Heritage Trail starts at the carpark beside Huia Settlers Museum and follows the fenceline to the foreshore. Follow the orange trail markers across farmland, rising to a gate on the bush edge, then descend to the beach (Hinge Bay). The track follows grass terrace westwards, then rises to a junction. Take the right hand fork and emerge on Huia Road. Pass through the small gate and cross the paddock back to the start.
