Information

Please note that booking hours for regional parks campgrounds, SCC campgrounds, SCC parking areas, baches and bookable sites is as follows:

Daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday
Non daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday

No bookings can be taken over the phone (or in person on site) outside of these times.

No cash payments are available at any time on park. We strongly recommend that you call our contact centre in advance of your arrival on park on (09) 366 2000, option 1, to make your booking.

Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

Remember to be a tidy Kiwi!

All our regional parks are rubbish free. Whether you call it rubbish, trash or garbage, please bag it all up and recycle it or throw it away when you return home.

About Ferguson House

Ferguson House is a standard two bedroom bach with a large living area. All living areas and bedrooms have a view of the Mahurangi Harbour, and the bach has a large deck with expansive views.

Booking restriction period: Off peak period is June-September (incl). This bach can be booked up to six months from todays month. e.g. In June you may make a booking for a date in December.
Parking: Combined permitted and visitor vehicles are limited to 4 vehicles.
Check in time:  2:00 p.m.
Check out time: 12 Noon.
Cleaning: Bach operates on a self-clean basis.
Facilities: Lounge, Dining and Living Area: Living area has one sofa bed, one two seater and one three seater sofa. French doors open from the living area on to the deck and out through the back of the house also. Dining room and kitchen is open plan with lounge area, with a large dining table that seats 8.
 
Bedrooms:

Two bedrooms. One with double bed and a large built in wardrobe and one with two sets of bunks and a chest of drawers. Please note: Top bunks are not recommended for children under 9yrs. The sofa bed in the living area provides sleeping capacity for two more people.

All beds have inner sprung mattresses with mattress protectors supplied. A pillow with pillow protector supplied for each bed. 

Bathroom: Bathroom with shower and toilet
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, stove, toaster, jug, cooking utensils, all cutlery and crockery provided.
Power supply: Standard domestic power supply.
Water:

Untreated tank water. The Ministry of Health recommend boiling untreated drinking water. Conserve water as there is a limited water supply.

Heating: Electric column heaters provided. The fireplace is not to be used.
Rubbish: Ferguson House has a bin, please use the rubbish bags provided and place rubbish bags in the wheelie bin outside the bach.
You need to supply: Bed linen, blankets, duvets, sleeping bags, additional pillows, towels, tea towels, food, personal items etc.

Directions

As you approach the end of Ridge Road, the access driveway is on the left. It is sign posted “Ferguson House”. Go through a locked chain off the road on the left hand side. Ferguson House is 50m up on the left.
