About Te Haruhi Bay Campground
Is an all modes campground behind the sand dunes at the very eastern end of Te Haruhi Bay. The campground is located in the Shakespear Open Sanctuary. To help keep the open sanctuary free of pests please check your vehicle and belongings for stowaway pests before you visit.

The camp ground and the park are not accessible after park closing times. The combination codes will not open the main park entrance gate

Tents. Purpose built vans, campermatics, caravans, 5th Wheelers, campervans and buses of all lengths. No Self-Containment certificate required

Showers: |
Two cold outside showers at the front of the toilet block. Campers can bring their own solar shower, shower tent and solar shower support. Showers must not be hung from trees.

There are labelled molok recycle and general rubbish containers at the campground. Only put recycle items into the recycling container as sign posted. Dispose all biodegradable food waste as sign posted in the worm container.

Directions
From the park entrance follow the signs to Te Haruhi Bay, and then to the campground. There is a locked access gate with combination required. The campground is approximately 250 meters along the access road.
