Please note that booking hours for regional parks campgrounds, SCC campgrounds, SCC parking areas, baches and bookable sites is as follows:

Daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday
Non daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday

No bookings can be taken over the phone (or in person on site) outside of these times.

No cash payments are available at any time on park. We strongly recommend that you call our contact centre in advance of your arrival on park on (09) 366 2000, option 1, to make your booking.

Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

Remember to be a tidy Kiwi!

All our regional parks are rubbish free. Whether you call it rubbish, trash or garbage, please bag it all up and recycle it or throw it away when you return home.

About Kaparanui Stream SCC Campground

Located on Deery's Road, this dedicated campervan site offers two locations on the Tapapakanga Stream and Kaparanui Stream. The sites offer shady stream side camping. To camp at this site a fully self contained certificate is required as there are no toilets. Limited water is available on site for drinking (boil 3 minutes).

Other Information:
  • Camp fees must be paid by booking through Auckland Councils contact centre on 09 301 0101 or using the park phone at the first noticeboard to obtain the gate code.
  • Certified self-contained vehicles only (certificate must be current and displayed).
  • Discharge motor home or campervan black water (sewage) and grey water (sink and hand basin water) at designated Motor Caravan Dump Stations only.
  • Take all litter away with you.
  • Do not light any fires.
  • Ensure all dogs are on a lead at all times.
  • Maximum length of vehicle permitted is 14 metres.
  • Three metre clearance between vehicles.

Directions

Travel straight ahead and pass the park entrance where the Pou are located. Follow the road around the sharp bend in the road to the right and down the small hill. There is one campground on the right hand side before the ford, with the second site pass the ford through the locked gate.
