Please note that booking hours for regional parks campgrounds, SCC campgrounds, SCC parking areas, baches and bookable sites is as follows:

Daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday
Non daylight saving: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through to Sunday

No bookings can be taken over the phone (or in person on site) outside of these times.

No cash payments are available at any time on park. We strongly recommend that you call our contact centre in advance of your arrival on park on (09) 366 2000, option 1, to make your booking.

Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

If you under the age of 18 you will be required to get parental consent to make a campground booking.

All our regional parks are rubbish free. Whether you call it rubbish, trash or garbage, please bag it all up and recycle it or throw it away when you return home.


About Wenderholm Glamping

These two pre-erected tents are available so that people new to camping can get a taste of the experience before they buy their own equipment. The cost shown below is per tent per night, and is for up to 4 people (best suited for 2 adults and 2 children)

Each tent has a queen-size bed and two inflated single mattresses that can be used for sleeping or as a low sofa. Bedding, including a duvet with cover, sheets and pillow cases are supplied, as well as a table, chairs, a gas barbecue including a gas bottle and battery-powered internal lights. You will also find a chilly bin, cooking equipment, solar shower and shower tent, crockery and cutlery.

Toilets are a short walk away in the main Schischka campground.

Go through the main park automatic entrance gate, travel approx 100 meters, turning left at the campground automatic gate and follow the signs to the campground. The campground is on the right approx: 750 meters down the road.
